01 · Philosophy

Personal relationships, taken seriously.

"Working in financial services has taught me the importance of developing personal relationships with clients — they are entrusting me with their life savings. I take that responsibility very seriously, and I do my best to always act with integrity, communicate effectively, and treat everyone with the utmost respect."

02 · Background

How I came to do this work.

My journey to becoming a financial advisor began a little over ten years ago, when my father started to have health issues and I began helping him with his finances. At that time, I was working as a finance manager for a mutual fund company — fifteen years into a career in financial services. In addition, I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in finance. I thought helping him wouldn't be a difficult task. I was wrong.

To help my father, I had to research the unique rules concerning Medicare options, 401(k) distributions, pensions, Social Security, and how taxes affect each of them. To my surprise, the research took quite a bit of time. Working through these items, I came to the following conclusion: if it took me a lot of time — with all my background — how would someone without a financial background ever get through all of this information?

As a result of working with my father, I determined I wanted to help others be prepared for, and enjoy, their retirement.

I have now been in the financial services industry for over 25 years. I currently hold Series 6, 63, 66, and Texas Department of Insurance Life/Health licenses.

Let me put my experience to work for you.
